This sturdy 20 x 14" inch teak chopping block was built to last. A full 2.5 inches thick, this end grain constructed block will hold up to both butchering and chopping.

Teak has become a popular choice for cutting boards, as it is dense yet also rich in natural oils that protect the board against bacteria, staining and cracking. Only grown in tropical regions, teak has historically been used in boats and luxury furniture due to its ability to withstand the elements.

As a bonus, this block features a large curved cutout on the underside, which is designed to fit a small cutting board underneath or over a curved sink. This makes kitchen clean-up much easier and disposal of scraps as easy as scraping off the board.
