Richlite Pull Out Cutting Board (1/2 Inch Thick)

Made to the SIZE YOU NEED!

Also commonly referred to as under counter boards and bread boards, our pull out cutting boards provide an easy and economical way to save space in your kitchen. If that old wood board under your counter has seen better days, Cutting Board Company makes it easy to design a replacement that fits perfectly!

To order, measure the thickness of your existing pull out cutting board and select the matching thickness and material you would like. Next, enter the dimensions of the old board and select any fraction increments(to the 1/16"). If your board measures whole numbers(such as 12" x 22") you may select "0" for the fraction.

Finally, select how you would like the edges and corners of your board to be finished. We recommend ordering the board with similar edges and corners to your old board to ensure a proper fit. Click the question mark next to Edge & Corner Style for more information on the different options for edges and corners.

If you no longer have the old under counter cutting board, or you are installing a cutting board in a new slot beneath your counter space, that's easy too!

First, measure how how thick the slot is that pull out board will slide into. Next, measure how deep the distance is to the very back of your cabinet and subtract 1/4" from that measurement. Subtracting the 1/4" will ensure that the board is slightly hidden underneath the lip of your counter when pushed all the way in, and present a more attractive look. Now you are ready to measure how wide the slot is that your pull out cutting board slides into. We also suggest subtracting about 1/8" from this measurement to ensure the board does not fit too tightly and pulls out smoothly.

For a small charge, we can even cut a finger pull on your board so you have a convenient grip to slide the board out from under your counter. For standard finger pulls, we typically route a groove across the short side of your board about 1/4" off the edge. We do this at opposite ends of your cutting board the top and bottom sides. This gives you the ability to flip the board over when one side becomes worn and doubles the life of your pull out cutting board board!

Edge and Corner Options

  • Standard-Standard

    Standard Edge, Standard Corner

Straight edges and straight corners. Looks like most standard cutting boards.

  • Bullnose

    Standard Edge, Rounded Corder

Rounded corners are nice for cutting boards that are handled multiple times a day and moved around. No more poking shins and hips. Great for commercial kitchens.

  • Unfinished

    Rounded Edge, Standard Corner

Rounded edges are great if the board is a bit larger than the countertop. The board can stick out and rub against the body, so rounded edges can relieve the sharpness.

  • Unfinished

    Rounded Edge, Rounded Corner

This is the real deal. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, rounded edges and corners provide the most comfort for those who use cutting boards frequently. Easy to handle, and no pokes!

Juice Grooves

  • Also commonly referred to as juice troughs, juice grooves are one of our most requested customizations. We simply route a small trough around the perimeter of your board to catch drippings from carving meat.
